Wanted to push myself into using 3x4 journaling cards in my layout. I usually shy away from using them (other than as titles), but this time around, I treated them as I would patterned paper. Used 3 (one's beneath my picture as a mat) and divided up the page into 4 3x4 segments running across the middle. Left to right they are a journaling card, title space, picture backed with journaling card, and finished off with another journaling card. Used distress oxides in Pumice Stone and Faded Jeans to add mixed media and embellished as usual.

Hey there! Sharing another baby boy themed layout using Echo Park's Welcome Baby Boy collection. Followed a similar design I have made earlier in which I used some of the journaling cards to add some extra sentiments and embellishments to the layout. Cardstock is by Bazzill; patterned paper are cut at 4x12 (dark blue) and 6x12 (white and wood grain). For some mixed media (since I can hardly make a layout these days without using it), I added some silver glaze stars using a stencil and some acrylic paint splatters in gold and pearl white. Hey everyone! Made this for the  Confessions Of A Paper Addict  DT. Used two different cutfiles and colored my own cardstock using  Shimmerz Paints  to get just the right colors. For extra interest, I hand-stitched a white border around my base and added a ribbon bow to the bouquet.
