Best Blooms

Made this one awhile ago and saved for when I was nearly done with Mini Man March.
This layout came about while I was tidying up some of the drawers in my craft room. As I was putting things away, the embellishments and bits of patterned paper caught my eye so I set them aside. Once I was done with my tidying up, I looked at them and remembered I had this picture from my honeymoon that I hadn't scrapped yet which went perfect with things I pulled aside! Here's the result: mixed media was done with distress oxides in Picker Raspberry, Candied Apple and Cracked Pistachio; sequins are from SpiegelMom Scraps. Flowers were fussy cut from two different patterned papers and embellishments were from my stash.

Hey there! Sharing another baby boy themed layout using Echo Park's Welcome Baby Boy collection. Followed a similar design I have made earlier in which I used some of the journaling cards to add some extra sentiments and embellishments to the layout. Cardstock is by Bazzill; patterned paper are cut at 4x12 (dark blue) and 6x12 (white and wood grain). For some mixed media (since I can hardly make a layout these days without using it), I added some silver glaze stars using a stencil and some acrylic paint splatters in gold and pearl white. Hey everyone! Made this for the  Confessions Of A Paper Addict  DT. Used two different cutfiles and colored my own cardstock using  Shimmerz Paints  to get just the right colors. For extra interest, I hand-stitched a white border around my base and added a ribbon bow to the bouquet.
