DIY #3

Hello!
In between creativemoments in which I happily scrap and document away, I've been busy with a bit of DIY-ing around the house. This project was pretty simple with only adding color (with Shimmerz), ribbon and a few embellishments. The decor itself was bought at Marshall's.

Hey there! Mini Man March - Layout #3 This one is a mixed media layout using the distress oxides, silver glaze and Shimmerz. My picture was layered on several bits of patterned paper from various collections. I created 3 clusters of lots of tiny embellishments for some added texture, dimension and detail. Hey there! Sharing another baby boy themed layout using Echo Park's Welcome Baby Boy collection. Followed a similar design I have made earlier in which I used some of the journaling cards to add some extra sentiments and embellishments to the layout. Cardstock is by Bazzill; patterned paper are cut at 4x12 (dark blue) and 6x12 (white and wood grain). For some mixed media (since I can hardly make a layout these days without using it), I added some silver glaze stars using a stencil and some acrylic paint splatters in gold and pearl white. Hey everyone! Made this for the  Confessions Of A Paper Addict  DT. Used two different cutfiles and colored my own cardstock using  Shimmerz Paints  to get just the right colors. For extra interest, I hand-stitched a white border around my base and added a ribbon bow to the bouquet.
