Explore A New World

1st layout made with Shimelle's Field Trip collection. I love the boy-ish explorer/wanderer vibe that it has, but I was able to make a baby layout with it! Everything, except a couple of embellishments and wood veneers, are from Field Trip. The background was inspired by a layout that I had seen Nathalie Desousa make a while back (link to her video is in the comments), and by a sketch from the Hip Kit Club. Mixed in Vicki Boutin watercolors with Shimmerz to create the background.

Hey there! Sharing another baby boy themed layout using Echo Park's Welcome Baby Boy collection. Followed a similar design I have made earlier in which I used some of the journaling cards to add some extra sentiments and embellishments to the layout. Cardstock is by Bazzill; patterned paper are cut at 4x12 (dark blue) and 6x12 (white and wood grain). For some mixed media (since I can hardly make a layout these days without using it), I added some silver glaze stars using a stencil and some acrylic paint splatters in gold and pearl white. Hey everyone! Made this for the  Confessions Of A Paper Addict  DT. Used two different cutfiles and colored my own cardstock using  Shimmerz Paints  to get just the right colors. For extra interest, I hand-stitched a white border around my base and added a ribbon bow to the bouquet.
