Together

Hello again! Sharing the 7th and final layout I was able to make using the Hip Kit Club's February 2019 kit. I still have some stuff leftover so maybe I can make an extra layout; we'll see! For this layout, I used a remaining strip of torn patterned paper layered on some mixed media using some of the Vicki Boutin acrylic paints. Layered beneath the picture are some patterned papers. Hearts were fussy cut from a Hip Kit Club exclusive patterned papers. The majority of the embellishments were from the kit; extra were from my stash.

Life is an Awesome Adventure

Hey there! Sharing the 6th layout made with the Hip Kit Club's February 2019 kit. Loved the angles on this one! I made a similar layout with the January kit and loved it so much that I decided to make it again! Mixed media was added using some Vicki Boutin acrylic paints and Shimmerz. The majority of the embellishments came from the kits; others were from my stash.

Wake Up Super

Hey there! Sharing another baby boy themed layout using Echo Park's Welcome Baby Boy collection. Followed a similar design I have made earlier in which I used some of the journaling cards to add some extra sentiments and embellishments to the layout. Cardstock is by Bazzill; patterned paper are cut at 4x12 (dark blue) and 6x12 (white and wood grain). For some mixed media (since I can hardly make a layout these days without using it), I added some silver glaze stars using a stencil and some acrylic paint splatters in gold and pearl white. Inspire Beauty

Hey there! Here's layout #5 using the Hip Kit Club's February 2019 kit. Loved that hot pink gingham patterned paper so I let it inspire me to create the rest of the layout. I added a 4.5x12 strip of paper layered on top of a 6x12 torn strip of the heart paper. Beneath I added some white acrylic paint to soft the transition between the cardstock and the patterned paper. Mixed media extras were made with Shimmerz. Embellishments are from the kit.

Hey there! Here's the 4th layout I was able to make using the Hip Kit Club's February 2019 kit. I used some of the journaling cut aparts along with some of the patterned papers from the kit. By using the journaling cards, I was able to extra embellishments throughout the whole layout and not just in clusters.

This Is My Life

Hello! Sharing my 3rd layout made with the Hip Kit Club's February 2019 kit. For this one, I picked out all the blues from the kit (with some green embellishments) to make a more masculine layout. Extra details in the process video:  https://youtu.be/GPNwv-k2KkM

Our Dream Come True

Hey there! Sharing a new layout made with the Hip Kit Club's February 2019 kit. My goal is to see how many layouts I can make using as much as the kits as possible. This time, I was able to make 7 layouts once more. This is #1. Link to Process Video:  https://youtu.be/3n-18X4UXh0

Choose Joy

Hello! 7th and final layout made with the Hip Kit Club's January 2019 kit. Cardstock was my stash. Borders were created with watered down Shimmerz in Marigold and white acrylic paint; the splatters were in those same colors as well. Patterned papers were cut in 5x12, 3x10 and 2x9. Embellishments were from the same kit; wood veneers were from my stash.

All Heart... All Smiles

Sharing layout #5 using the Hip Kit Club's January 2019 kit. I love how well the colors from the patterned papers go with the pictures, especially my dress! I used Shimmerz in Pinin' For You, Old Yeller and Pink. The strips of paper were cut in 2.5 inch strips about 9.5 inches long and then I tore off a bit of the ones of the edges. Border was created using a simple back stitch.

Hey there! Here's a mixed media layout using a cut file designed by Paige Evans and lots of different mixed media products, including hand stitching. It was inspired by this month's mood board on the Vicki Boutin Mixed Media Community group right here on Facebook. I've included the mood board along in this post. Hope that it inspires you to play with your supplies! Process video:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4FcqOI3HR8
