A New Journey

Decided to take a small break from Mini Man March just to make this layout. It's one of those layouts that I had tumbling around in my mind ever since I saw one of Vicki Boutin's patterned paper from her Field Notes collection. Loved how it turned out despite the fact that it's the complete opposite of my usual color scheme. I simply made a mixed media background with some distress oxides, art crayons, glazes and a stencil. Added a cut file by Virginia Walker in navy and some fussy cut florals from Vicki's collection, and finished off with some Nuvo drops and Heidi Swapp Colorshine in navy.

Hey there! Sharing another baby boy themed layout using Echo Park's Welcome Baby Boy collection. Followed a similar design I have made earlier in which I used some of the journaling cards to add some extra sentiments and embellishments to the layout. Cardstock is by Bazzill; patterned paper are cut at 4x12 (dark blue) and 6x12 (white and wood grain). For some mixed media (since I can hardly make a layout these days without using it), I added some silver glaze stars using a stencil and some acrylic paint splatters in gold and pearl white. I Am... | COAPA DT

Hey everyone! Made this for the  Confessions Of A Paper Addict  DT. Used two different cutfiles and colored my own cardstock using  Shimmerz Paints  to get just the right colors. For extra interest, I hand-stitched a white border around my base and added a ribbon bow to the bouquet.
