Looking for a simple mixed media technique with an amazing "WOW" factor? Gather up your oxides, foundations paper (or gessoed cardstock), and a mister to create something likes this! It's super simple; just swipe a bit of distress oxide onto the paper, mist it, and lift the paper so that the colorful water trickles down and blends with any nearby colors. Then embellish accordingly. With this one I went with the color blocking look.

Hey there! Sharing another baby boy themed layout using Echo Park's Welcome Baby Boy collection. Followed a similar design I have made earlier in which I used some of the journaling cards to add some extra sentiments and embellishments to the layout. Cardstock is by Bazzill; patterned paper are cut at 4x12 (dark blue) and 6x12 (white and wood grain). For some mixed media (since I can hardly make a layout these days without using it), I added some silver glaze stars using a stencil and some acrylic paint splatters in gold and pearl white. Hey everyone! Made this for the  Confessions Of A Paper Addict  DT. Used two different cutfiles and colored my own cardstock using  Shimmerz Paints  to get just the right colors. For extra interest, I hand-stitched a white border around my base and added a ribbon bow to the bouquet.
