Hello there! Here's my second layout made for the Shimmerz Design Team. I used lots of color mists and made some florals with a Vicki Boutin stamp (which I later fussy cut out). Afterwards, I mixed in some florals from Paige Evans' Whimsical, Horizon and Truly Grateful collections. Here's what I thought was going to be the final layout using Shimelle's Head in the Clouds. Turns out I was able to one extra one. This is #10. I used a sheet of Vicki Boutin's Foundations Paper in order to add some Shimmerz Mists (Hint of Mint, Cotton Candy, and Rip Van Periwinkle). Then I added some patterned paper to top, made a paper cluster for my picture and embellished. Looking for a simple and easy stash-bashing project? Here's a tutorial I made for a mini book using just 11 sheets of 6x6 paper, some cardstock, project life cards, and ribbon.  Could be used as a sort of traveler's notebook, journal, or idea book. I'm using mine for writing down song lyrics, Bible verses and quotes. From start to finish, making one of these books takes about 30-40 minutes. Below are the links to both tutorials. Hi! Lots of layered pieces of patterned paper with this one. I wanted to showcase most of the pretty paper so I trimmed, tucked and fiddled with pieces of paper until I achieved this look. Used Shimelle's Head in the Clouds collection and sprinkled in a couple of embellishments from Paige Evans' Horizon collection. Finished off the layout with some splatters of Shimmerz in Cotton Candy. Sharing layout #8 (I think!) with Shimelle's Head in the Clouds collection. All the cute fantasy creatures and tea cups make for a perfect way to document my sons' first ride on the Mad Hatter's Tea Cup at the Magic Kingdom. I used a bit of Shimmerz for some pop of mixed media and added some not so hidden Mickeys to finish off the layout.
